Community Guidelines

Kitchen Guru works because players look out for each other. These guidelines keep the community welcoming, safe, and fun — on the app and on the court. Breaking them can get content removed or your account suspended.

Be respectful

• Treat other players the way you'd want to be treated. Friendly trash talk is fine; harassment isn't.
• No bullying, threats, intimidation, or stalking — in posts, messages, or in person.
• No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any protected characteristic.

Keep it clean and honest

• No sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content. No nudity.
• No impersonation or fake profiles. Be who you say you are.
• No spam, scams, mass solicitation, or unwanted advertising.
• Post real court photos and honest reviews — not misleading, off-topic, or others' copyrighted material.

Respect privacy & safety

• Don't share anyone's private information (theirs or your own sensitive details like home address or financial info).
• Don't use Kitchen Guru to track, surveil, or locate someone without their consent.
• Don't solicit minors or anyone under 18, and don't bring anyone under 18 onto the platform.

Play fair on the court

• Show up if you say you will. Be on time, share courts, and respect facility rules.
• Settle disputes like adults. Good sportsmanship is part of the deal.

Reporting & blocking

If you see something that breaks these rules:

• Report any post, message, photo, or profile using the report icon. Reports go to our moderation team for review.
• Block a user from the chat header or their profile to immediately stop them from contacting you.
• If someone is in danger or a crime is occurring, contact local emergency services first.

How we enforce

Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, or suspend or permanently remove an account. Serious violations — threats, exploitation, or illegal activity — can result in an immediate ban and, where appropriate, referral to authorities. We aim to be fair, but our goal is always to protect the community.
